Service Description: This map schema is composed of 3 map layers which can be used to capture various types of hazard features:
1. Point Hazard which deals with exact hazard location/origins.
2. Polygon Hazard Zone which can be used to encompass the affected area of the hazard.
3. Line Hazard which can be used for pipeline monitoring and inspections.
These map layers can be classified as being active or passive. The active hazard is a hazard that require immediate attention i.e chemical spill or pipeline leak. The passive hazard is one that will need moderate attention i.e checking acid tailing pond to make sure there is no run off affecting other water supplies.
